Chukars can’t erase early deficit as four-game win streak is snapped in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KIFI) - A barrage of early inning runs by the Rocky Mountain Vibes was too much to come back from for the Idaho Falls Chukars Friday night, as the Chuks fell 9-5 to snap a four-game win streak.

The Vibes picked up an early 1-0 lead in the first, but tallied six more runs in the second to take a huge 7-0 advantage.

Though the Chukars fought back, Rocky Mountain cemented the lead with two more runs in the fourth for just its second victory of the season.

Next up, the Chuks look to get back in the win column Saturday night against the Vibes at 6:30 p.m.
