Chukars shut out Raptors 6-0 for fourth straight victory and eighth in last nine games

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Falls Chukars remain hot after winning their fourth straight game Wednesday night, a 6-0 shutout victory over the Ogden Raptors to improve to a Pioneer League-best 15-4.

Joe Slocum, Nate Jenkins and Jon Nunnally tossed a combined three-hit shutout to blank Ogden on the bump.

Offensively, the Chukars got on the board in the third inning with an RBI single from Calvin Estrada and a three-run moonshot home run by Brady West on their way to a 6-0 win.

Next up, the Chuks can sweep the Raptors Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. before heading to Ogden this weekend.
