Chukars win streak is snapped at four games in 5-2 loss to the Raptors

Eric Moon KIFI

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Idaho Falls Chukars cooled off Thursday night after winning eight of their last nine games, falling to the Ogden Raptors 5-2.

Weak contact base hits proved costly to the Chuks early on, as a trifecta of soft-contact singles brought home a pair of runs to give Ogden a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

The Raptors would add three more runs, and coupled up with the Chukars not recording a hit until the sixth inning, that was enough to end Idaho Falls' win streak.

Next up, the Chukars face the Raptors three more times this weekend in Ogden, with game one Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
