Burley’s Amari Whiting flips commitment to play for her mom at BYU in 2023

BURLEY, Idaho (KIFI) - One of the best players in recent Idaho State basketball history has flipped her commitment, as Burley's Amari Whiting will now play for her mom, Amber Whiting at BYU in 2023, per Amari's Twitter page.

Whiting was previously committed to Oregon, but with Amber Whiting going to Provo after coaching her at Burley, Amari will now join the Cougars.

Amari still has one season of high school basketball left, and she will play her senior year at Timpview High School in Provo.
