Thunder Ridge scores two goals in five minutes for 2-0 win against Preston

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - In their seventh game in 13 days, the Thunder Ridge Titans only needed a pair of tallies in the span of five minutes to top Preston 2-0 on Wednesday.

The scoring began in the 30th minute when Gisela Chavez sent a free kick towards goal and Maelie Summers deflected the shot to the back of the net for a Thunder Ridge advantage.

Then, in the 35th minute, Jesse Estrada flew through the Preston defense to score another one for the Titans, and that was all Thunder Ridge needed for a win.

Next up, Thunder Ridge travels to Century next Tuesday while Preston hosts Highland Thursday.
