Cooling down with possible thunderstorms for Father’s Day

TONIGHT: More isolated thunderstorms are possible for central ID especially towards Salmon and western WY for tonight. The rest of the region will have only partly cloudy skies with no chances for rain. Winds will be slightly breezy between 10-20 mph. Low temperatures get down to the 40's.

TOMORROW: We will lookout for scattered and isolated thunderstorms for most of the region on Father's Day. Scattered thunderstorms are most likely throughout the day for central ID and western WY. Isolated thunderstorms can creep into the Upper Snake River Plain in the late afternoon. Meanwhile, the lower Snake River Plain, Magic Valley, and southern highlands will look for only a stray rain shower to roll through if that. Winds stay pretty breezy between 15-25 mph. High temperatures decrease down to the 60's.

LONG TERM: More isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are possible for the region on Monday before we all dry out for Tuesday. We will stay dry then for most of the work week until the next major system comes in next weekend. Winds will calm down for Tuesday and look to stay calm until next weekend. High temperatures decrease to the low to mid 60's one more day on Monday before increasing into the work week. By Friday, high temperatures are back into the 80's.
