Slightly cooler and windy for Sunday
TONIGHT: Isolated thunderstorms will keep passing through central ID tonight as they have been throughout the afternoon especially around Salmon and Challis. The rest of the region will see mostly clear skies and no rain chances for the nighttime hours. Winds will be a little breezy between 10-20 mph. Low temperatures get down to the 50's and upper 40's.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies will be across the entire region for Sunday with no more rain showers for central ID or anyone else around here. Winds will be breezy between 15-25 mph with gusts possibly getting up to 40 mph. High temperatures take a slight decrease back into the 80's.
LONG TERM: Dry conditions continue for the beginning of the work week before we might get stray rain showers working in for the region for the second half of the work week starting on Wednesday. More of these stray showers look to be focused toward the eastern highlands just to the East of the Snake River and western WY. Even then, changes of rain for western WY are only at 20% at this time for Wednesday thru Friday. Dry conditions then follow next weekend. Winds will calm down a lot for Monday before ramping up slowly into the work week and they will be breezy once again by Thursday and Friday between 15-25 mph. High's stay in the 80's for one more day on Monday before increasing back to the 90's for Tuesday and they will look to stay in the mid to upper 90's for the rest of the week.
