Very hot with stray thunderstorms for Sunday

TONIGHT: We are expecting stray showers in the southern highlands, SE Idaho, and western WY for the late afternoon hours before the showers disappear completely right before sunset. We will then see mostly clear skies across the entire region heading into the late night hours. Winds will be calm between 5-10 mph. Low temperatures get down to the 50's and 60's.

TOMORROW: More stray thunderstorms will be present in the afternoon hours Sunday with most of the storms focused on the Snake River Plain. Even then, rain chances for the Snake Plain are only 20% to 30%. Besides that, partly cloudy skies will be found for the rest of the region. Winds will be a little breezy at times between 10-20 mph. High's will increase into the low 90's to lower 100's for the afternoon.

LONG TERM: Stray thunderstorms and rain showers continue into much of the work week possibly even continuing into next weekend. Besides that, most of the days should remain mostly sunny and partly cloudy. Winds will be very gusty during most of the week between 10-25 mph. High's decrease back into the upper 80's and lower 90's on Monday. High's will then look to stick around the upper 80's and lower 90's heading into next weekend.
