Isolated thunderstorms continue into Sunday
TONIGHT: Isolated thunderstorms will be present across most of the region late this afternoon before slowly disappearing in the late-night hours. Most isolated thunderstorms will focus towards SE Idaho, western WY, and central ID. Winds will be calm except next to these showers and storms where gusts can reach up to 40 mph. Low temperatures get down to the 50's and upper 40's.
TOMORROW: It will be a mostly sunny morning followed by isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Most thunderstorms will focus towards the eastern highlands, western WY, and the Snake River Plain. Winds can be breezy in the afternoon between 10-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. High temperatures remain in the 80's.
LONG TERM: Isolated afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms continue into Monday before we only have stray rain showers and thunderstorms left for Tuesday and Wednesday. Another batch of scattered rain showers and thunderstorms then comes on Thursday before drying up for next weekend. Winds will be breezy with these afternoon storms with gusts staying up to 40 mph and sustained winds staying mostly calm. High temperatures decrease for the long term, but only slightly. We decrease the high's into the low to mid 80's for Thursday before picking the high temperatures back into the upper 80's and lower 90's for next weekend.
