Isolated thunderstorms tonight and Monday afternoon
TONIGHT: Isolated thunderstorms are in the region this afternoon and will continue into tonight until they clear up for the overnight hours. Most thunderstorms will stay in the mountains of central ID, SE Idaho, and western WY, but we can see a stray shower creep into the Snake River Plain. Winds will be very gusty under these storms up to 40 mph. Low temperatures get down to the 50's for the early morning hours
TOMORROW: Sunny skies will start off the morning before we get more isolated thunderstorms back for the afternoon. Most isolated thunderstorms will stick to the mountains with only a 10% chance of rain for the valleys. Winds will be slightly breezy for the valleys between 10-20 mph, but central ID can see winds reach up to 30 to 40 mph. High temperatures go up to 80's.
LONG TERM: We will have a stray rain shower or two leftover for Tuesday, but overall, we will see mostly sunny skies. More isolated thunderstorms come back into the picture during the afternoon for both Wednesday and Thursday. Conditions look to fully dry up then in time for next weekend. Winds will be slightly breezy for the long term between 10-20 mph. High temperatures slowly decrease heading into Thursday and Friday. High's then look to be in the upper 70's to mid 80's. We will then expect to ramp back up to the 80's and low 90's in time for next weekend.
