Warming trend this week with a low risk of thunderstorms

KIFI

We’re seeing a few isolated thunderstorms this evening, mainly for the higher elevations and the upper valley of the Snake River Plain. Warmer weather will arrive this week, taking our daytime highs back to the 80’s.

Mostly clear overnight with low temperatures dropping to the lower 40’s and upper 30’s. Winds could still be breezy, from the southwest around 10-15 mph. Isolated thunderstorms will slowly fizzle out.

For Tuesday, sunny with a high temperature in the lower to mid 70’s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 10-15 mph.

Mostly sunny to start out Wednesday but look for a few thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Highs in the Snake River Plain will reach the upper 70’s.

Sunny and windy for Thursday with high temperatures in the upper 70’s and lower 80’s.
