2 drivers hurt in Idaho Falls crash

Idaho State Police is investigating a crash involving an Idaho Falls Police patrol car shortly before 2 p.m. Friday.

Initial reports indicate an officer had a green light at the intersection of 12th Street and Woodruff and drove north through the intersection. Another vehicle driving south attempted to turn left onto 12th Street in front of the patrol car and collided with it.

Both the driver of the car and the officer sustained minor injuries. Investigation is continuing.
