Center Stage Theater puts final touches on ‘The Marvelous Wonderettes’

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Center Stage Theater in Idaho Falls is putting the final touches on 'The Marvelous Wonderettes.'

If you love that great jukebox music from the 50's and 60's, you won't want to miss this show opening Wednesday night in Idaho Falls.

Linda Larsen was lucky enough to get a preview Tuesday at their final rehearsal.

It pays homage to the high school Songleader squads of the 50s.

When the song leaders are called upon to perform at their senior prom as a last minute replacement, they rally together to entertain their classmates in four-part harmony.

The second act shows the four 10 years later at a high school reunion.

The musical includes the songs Sandman, Lollipop, Dream Lover, Stupid Cupid and lots more.

The show runs in conjunction with Forever Plaid on off set days now through the end of March.

Tickets to the individual show are $28 or you can see both of them for $45.

Tickets are available online HERE or at the Center Stage Box Office.
