UVALDE, Texas (AP) — The City of Uvalde has released an independent report into a deadly 2022 school shooting that suggested none of the city’s officers violated department policy. The report released Thursday infuriated family members of children killed in the attack and contradicted other investigations that found myriad failures by responding officers. The report was conducted by Jesse Prado, an Austin-based investigator and former police detective, with contributions from two other former Austin police officers. The May 2022 shooting at Robb Elementary School left 19 children and two teachers dead.
