Man dies in Clark County rollover

A man died in a rollover crash on State Highway 22 west of Dubois.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said a 2005 Toyota Tundra had rolled and was sitting on top of a fence. A bystander quickly reported that the driver was pinned up underneath the pickup.

Emergency crews lifted the pickup off the victim using emergency air bag lifts and used CPR, but Devin Eric Singleton, 29, a new resident of Dubois who previously lived in Rexburg, was later pronounced dead at the accident.

Deputies said it appeared Singleton got off the edge of the roadway as he rounded the corner, which caused him to lose control of the Tundra. They also said Singleton was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected, and the pickup came to rest on top of him.

Due to the ongoing investigation, no further information is being released.
