Man arrested on sexual battery charge
A Pocatello man was charged with a felony of sexual battery of a 16-year-old girl.
Pocatello police Lt. Paul Manning said Wednesday that Christopher Warren Wilcutt, 25, was charged as part of an investigation that began May 26.
According to police, Wilcutt was with two females at a mutual friend’s house in the 1300 block of South Fifth Street. One was an adult and the other a 16-year-old girl who claimed Wilcutt was touching both of them inappropriately.
The girl, who is now 17, told police there was alcohol and marijuana at the house. She also said she ate something that made her feel different when she was there.
Manning said hospital lab results came back in August and the case was referred to the Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office. The tests indicated traces of GHB, a date-rape drug, in the girl’s system. Investigators are looking into whether Wilcutt gave her the drug.
