NFL player speaks to students in Rigby
There was lots of excitement in Rigby Friday when students at a local elementary school got to meet an NFL star.
Rexburg native Mark Asper, who now plays for the Buffalo Bills, dropped by Jefferson Elementary Friday morning.
Speaking to about 70 Spanish immersion students in Spanish, Asper discussed healthy living and his career as a professional football player.
“It’s a little daunting because cause I’m out of practice with my Spanish and they’re in school, they’re learning every day, so I was worried that they’d know more than I did,” said Asper.
After the presentation, Asper took time to sign autographs.
