Mobile drug lab dismantled in Oneida County

Three persons were arrested Tuesday after the Oneida County Sheriff’s office discovered a large, elaborate, clandestine laboratory.

The Bear River Drug Task Force and Southeast Idaho Tactical Team served a search warrant at 4730 S. 21000 W. In western Oneida County early Tuesday morning.

Sheriff Jeff Semrad said investigators seized marijuana and paraphernalia along with evidence of manufacturing controlled substances. Although the laboratory was not operating at the time of the search, investigators said the evidence was consistent with the production of methamphetamine.

The mobile lab was enclosed in a semi-trailer and capable of producing large quantities of methamphetamine.

Daniel Delvin Junker, 61, was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, marijuana, possession of marijuana and manufacturing methamphetamine by use of a clandestine lab.

Two other persons were arrested on warrants from Colorado. Allen Ertle, 63, of Sterling, Colorado was wanted for manufacturing and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Evelyn Rise, 62, of Durango, Colorado was arrested on another felony warrant.

The sheriff’s office reports the lab was dismantled by Idaho State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
