Man arrested for forgery after using dead relative’s ID to open accounts

Idaho Falls Police arrested 41-year-old Michael M. Miller on a warrant for grand theft and forgery Monday morning.

Miller of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, Miller fraudulently used his deceased relative’s identification to open and use credit accounts at Les Schwab Tire and Commercial tire in Idaho Falls. The amounts were for $678 and $2,027 respectively.

The investigation began in October. While being placed under arrest, Miller was also found in possession methamphetamine and marijuana
