Power County Sheriff investigating accidental shooting
The Power County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accidental shooting case that occurred Thursday afternoon.
At around Noon Thursday the sheriff’s office received a 911 call reporting that a 31-year-old male had been accidentally shot in the back while target practicing in the Lake Channel area. The man had been practicing there with 2 other men.
The sheriff’s office and Power County EMS responded to the scene. The injured man was taken to Portneuf Medical Center via ground ambulance.
Power County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation of the shooting is continuing, however foul play is not suspected and the incident appears to be accidental.
