Pizza time at Rizo’s Pizza
Rizo’s Pizza is open for business and customers were eager to get a tasty bite of whats on their menu.
The pizza place sits next to Cafe Rio, Edwards Theater and Texas Roadhouse. Although they joined the long line of restaurants in the area, Rizo’s Pizza stands out because of their fire-baked pizza.
The fire-baked pizza oven turns out crisp, artisan style-thin crusts with satisfying char, all sporting tasty toppings like roasted mushrooms, garlic-caramelized onions, and pesto drizzle.
Customers can either choose an original such as a Piper pizza or River pizza or come up with their own. And if you’re feeling something light Rizo’s offers specialty salads. They also offer offer the Willow pizza that doesn’t have any meat on it.
Rizo’s Pizza Owner, Jamie Rhoda said the prices are reasonable.
“Fire-baked pizza. We have a personal size for $4.89, a large for $7.89 and we can double crust the large for $10.89,” Rhoda said.
Rhoda said it only takes two to three minutes to prepare and there’s outdoor seating for guests to enjoy.
“You can actually eat fresh pizza for lunch, it’s cooked right in front of you,” Rhoda said.
They will be having their grand-opening on June 24.
