ORIGINAL STORY:
An Idaho Falls family is looking for their pet iguana that escaped earlier this week.
Django is a 4-year-old iguana that’s about four-and-a-half to five feet long. He’s been missing since Wednesday. His owners say he pushed the screen out of the window and crawled outside.
Since his escape, he was last seen on the corner of Lee and 5th in Idaho Falls. His owners say he needs special care to survive and it’s important they get him back.
“I just want to bring him home. My husband and I want to bring him home. Our family loves him to death,” Jordyn Wise said. “He’s part of our family, so we just want to bring him home. Everybody take a second to look up in a tree, look in a bush. He’ll be there. He’s got to be somewhere.”
If you see the iguana, call Jordyn Wise at (208) 821-4131 or Brendon Wise at (208) 419-2008. The family says the iguana is very friendly, but if you are afraid to approach it, you can call them or animal control.
