Migrant crisis front and center in pope’s Greece-Cyprus trip

LESBOS, Greece (AP) — Pope Francis is heading back to the Greek island of Lesbos to meet migrants and asylum-seekers for the second time in five years. It comes as European governments are hardening borders and policies to keep migrants out, but as religious faiths seeks broader collaboration to address major global problems. The 84-year-old pontiff will stop on the island for several hours during an upcoming visit to Orthodox-majority Cyprus and Greece. Francis begins the five-day trip on Thursday.
