A storm system is slowly approaching for the end of this week. High clouds will stream across our skies from time to time but that’s about it until Friday when our next storm arrives. Rain and high elevation snow showers start Friday evening and continue into Saturday.

Tonight, partly to mostly cloudy with lows a bit more mild into the 30’s. Light breeze from the southwest at 5-15mph.

Thursday, partly to mostly cloudy and warmer, highs into the upper 60’s for the Snake River Plain. Winds picking up just a bit from 10-20mph out of the south and west.

Friday, a 50 percent chance of showers during the day with an isolated thunderstorm or two. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60°.

Saturday, Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 50°. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Sunday, scattered rain and snow showers. Colder, with highs into the mid to upper 40’s.
