A few isolated storms tonight but cold and frosty conditions through Wednesday morning. A Frost Advisory has been issued for the Snake River Plain. Wednesday afternoon, expect dry and sunny conditions with the warmest temps of the year thus far!! Tonight, clearing skies and cool temps with lows into the 20’s and 30’s. Areas of frost expected! Winds becoming light and variable. Wednesday, mostly sunny skies with much warmer temps as highs push into the mid and upper 60’s. Winds light and variable. Thursday, sunny and warm with temps climbing into the mid and upper 70’s. Winds light from the southwest at 5-15mph. The rise in warmer temperatures, will help speed up high elevation snow melt. This means higher flows in area rivers and streams. A flood warning continues for the Portneuf River, and will remain in effect for quite some time.
