Man hopes to raise $5,000 for fallen heroes by playing guitar non-stop
Jeff Waschbusch moved to Idaho 3 years ago and in the last year he’s decided to raise money for veterans through playing guitar non-stop.
“I just don’t really like the way our government treats our veterans,” said Waschbusch who says he worked in a job at one time where we worked closely with veterans affairs. While he’s working to raise $5,000 for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, he’s also trying to break a world record by playing for 114 hours and 7 minutes. Washbusch does get a break, for every hour he plays he gets 5 minutes of rest time. Early Tuesday morning he had worked up 65 minutes of rest time.
“It’s such a great cause,” said Waschbusch, although he admitted on Tuesday he was getting tired he said he wants to keep going to donate to the cause, even though one of his fingers started splitting while he was playing. Waschbush says the pain is worth it.
