Pocatello firemen douse small wildfire

The Pocatello Fire Department was called to a small wildfire off of Coronado Court at around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. A Pocatello fire deparmtent battalion chief who was on scene said firefighters were able to control the fire at about 2 acres within 20 minutes. 3 Pocatello fire engines and brush trucks responded. Two Bureau of Land Management trucks were also called as a precaution. The fire was only a minimal threat to homes and no one was injured. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
