Aday enters into plea deal in murder case
Deena Aday appeared in court this morning and entered into a plea deal. Aday was originally charged with accessory to murder, but is now charged with obstruction for withholding information, which is a misdemeanor.
“She would plead to a resisting or obstructing officer charge,” Daniel Clark, Bonneville County Prosecutor, said. “Same basic theory that she withheld information from police she shouldn’t have. The state will recommend jail and probation as a condition of that sentence along with any other standard terms.”
Aday is charged after leaving the state with Jeremy White, who is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly strangling his fiancee, Christin Caldwell, and burying her beneath their Bonneville County home.
Aday at first witheld information from police, but then told them all the information they needed to charge White.
She will appear in court again in November.
