Breezy and Cloudy
The winds will finally calm down a bit today, though they’ll still be a bit breezy through today and calmer tomorrow. There is the threat for a convergence zone and subsequent snow showers for the southern Snake River Plain and into the Magic Valley. A few inches of snow are possible for where this convergence zone sets up, likely in the late morning and through the afternoon hours. Calmer conditions will prevail with much much colder temperatures for the next few days.
Today: Highs in the 20s with mostly cloudy skies. Snow showers between Twin Falls and Blackfoot, with 1-3 inches possible.
Tonight: Lows in the single digits with a bit of a breeze, thus wind chill will be an issue.
Tomorrow: Subzero wind chill temps in the morning, with partly/mostly cloudy skies and highs in the 20’s.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 20’s and low 30’s.
