School bus catches fire on US 20

A school bus heading from Idaho Falls to Krupp Scout Hollow had to make an emergency stop off US 20 at exit 325 near Rigby after the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine.

All 48 people on the bus were able to safely get off and walk the rest of the way to the scout camp.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies, Idaho State Police and fire crews all responded.

Nobody was hurt.
