Emergency training to take place at College of Eastern Idaho Tuesday
Tuesday if you happen to be near the College of Eastern Idaho and see what looks like a large emergency response, there is no need to worry it’s just a drill.
From 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 pm. five regional special operations teams will be doing training and simulations at the college. Including a post-blast bomb detonation with wounded people needing first aid.
The teams taking part in the drill are:
Region VII Bomb Squad (Idaho Falls Police Department) Region VII Hazardous Materials Response Team (Idaho Falls Fire Department) Idaho Army National Guard 101st Civil Support Team U.S. Army North Federal Bureau of Investigation
