Eastern Idaho State Fair 2018 line up

The State Fair is a tradition among many, and this year the Eastern Idaho State Fair announced their line up for 2018.

This year they are celebrating 116 years as the oldest and longest running state fair in the state.

For 2018, the theme is ‘Happy Together’ and there’s no better way to celebrate than with the togetherness of family.

Eastern Idaho State Fair General Manager Brandon Bird said, “What makes the fair great is the people coming together and the fun they have coming together, and that is why we are celebrating the wonderful feeling of togetherness.”

You can still see your favorites such as the Gem State Rodeo, and the Figure 8 Mega Truck Madness.

EISF officials are excited to bring new acts to the stage. ” We will have a high dive act performing in the west end events area, and it’s apart of our free entertainment that we provide each year, and there will be individuals jumping from over 80 feet in the air into a small pool of water- guaranteed to make families have great entertainment and fun at the fair,” says Bird.

Musical guest include Montgomery Gentry and Old Dominion.

The Eastern Idaho State Fair kicks off August 31 and runs through September 8.
