Zoo Idaho seeks your feedback on changing summer hours

Zoo Idaho officials are thinking about changing their summer hours because of the hot summer temperatures.

Officials said in a Facebook post, “Our animals are more active during the morning and are given access to their enclosures during high temperatures making them hard to view by guests.”

The zoo has proposed two options: Monday through Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m./Saturday through Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The zoo’s current hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can vote for what time you think is best on the zoo’s Facebook post.
