Fire weather warning and hot temps

High pressure and no humidity create a fire weather warning for areas from the Treasure Valley to western Wyoming. A windy afternoon with gusts to 30+mph is cause for critical fire danger. Smoke and haze can be expected into Lemhi County and into upper highland locations. Hot temperatures will breach 90 degrees - from 93 to 97 from Rexburg to Pocatello. Mountain communities from Driggs to Jackson will push to just under 90 at 88 degrees. 96 and hot for Salmon. It will be slightly cooler tomorrow with this slight disturbance taking temps down 4-6 degrees. Average temperatures this time of year are around 88 and we'll continue to see season averages through the rest of the dry weekend and into next week.
