Blowing and drifting snow has created difficult driving conditions everywhere, especially in more rural areas.
In the upper valley, Idaho Highway 32, between Ashton and Tetonia closed Sunday due to drifting snow and reduced visibility.
Highway 33 is also closed due to blowing and drifting snow between Newdale and Tetonia.
The city of Idaho Falls also advised motorists to expect 2 to 5 inches of snow and wind speeds of 40 to 50 miles per hour, creating significant areas of blowing and drifting snow.
To the south, Idaho Highway 38, between Sand Ridge Road, Pocatello Valley Road, and the east Holbrook city limits is also closed for 5 to 21 miles west of the Malad City area. Blowing and drifting snow is limiting visibility.
