I-15 closed due to blowing dust
Idaho State Police have temporarily closed Interstate 15 from Idaho Falls to Roberts due to low visibility from blowing dust.
At 2 p.m. the remote weather station at Osgood measured winds at a steady speed of 27.3 mph and gusting to over 35 mph.
At Kettle Butte, abut 16 miles west of Idaho Falls on US 20, wind speeds were gusting to nearly 45 mph.
It is unknown how long the closure will be in effect.
