Grand Targhee postpones opening indefinetely
ALTA, Wyo. (KIFI/KIDK) - UPDATE 11/21/19: Grand Targhee Resort has now postponed its winter opening until further notice.
The resort had hoped for some new snowfall this week, but did not get enough to allow for a full opening.

Grand Targhee Ski Resort's hopes for a heavy snowstorm and colder temperatures this week have not materialized.
As a result, the Resort announced Wednesday it will not open on Friday, November 22. Officials will re-evaluate the situation again on Thursday for a possible Saturday opening.
Grand Targhee reports receiving 1 inch of snow in the past 48 hours and a base depth of 26 inches. So far this year, Grand Targhee reports 42 inches of snowfall.
Current forecasts indicate light snow may fall at the resort on Monday.
