Pocatello Crash Kills 2, Injures 2

TUESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE

The names of the crash victims have been released by Bannock County Coroner Kim Quick.

Desmond Craig Weiser, 47, of Fort Hall, died at the scene. Tamera Medicinehorse, 32, also of Fort Hall, was riding in the car and had been transported to the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Medicinehorse was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon after succumbing to her injuries, said Lt. Paul Manning with the Pocatello Police Department.

The other two people are still in the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

The car the four crashed in was a 2008 Dodge Charger, Manning said.

Police are blaming alcohol for a deadly crash in Pocatello Tuesday morning.

A car was heading east on Center St. around 2 a.m. when it crossed over the island and hit the median near the intersection with Clark St. The car then went airborne, landed and rolled down a hill, police said.

One man died and three others are in the hospital; one person is in critical condition, police said.

An accident reconstruction team was at the crash site Tuesday while police continued their investigation.
