3 Arrested After High-Speed Chase

Idaho State Police arrested three men after a high-speed chase that lasted about four miles on two freeways.

The pursuit on Interstate 86 near mile post 58 started after troopers tried to stop a truck which wouldn’t stay in its lane, according to ISP.

Speeds reached 98 mph during the chase. ISP used spike strips near milepost 71 on Interstate 15, which flattened the right front tire of the truck.

Troopers arrested the driver, Trevor Beasley, 22, of Pocatello, and the two passengers, Bryson Appenay, 20, of Pocatello, and William Appenay, 31, of Fort Hall, after they tried to run away on foot, according to ISP.

All three men were arrested for resisting arrest, obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Beasley also faces felony eluding and DUI charges, and William Appenay was also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant.

ISP said there were no crashes or injuries in the chase and capture of the three men.
