Chick-fil-A Fans Wait To Get Free Coupons

About 75 people braved the frigid temperatures Wednesday morning to be one of the first 100 people to win free coupons from Chick-fil-A for a year.

The restaurant is located at 3003 South 25th East in Ammon, in the old Fazoli?s building. It?s is scheduled to open Thursday morning.

The group included several people from around the country including a man from Florida and a family from Utah. They said they?ve been to other Chick-fil-A grand openings before.

Those who stood at line were registered Wednesday morning and allowed inside the store to keep warm, but must stay until the official opening on Thursday to receive their 52 coupons.

Cindy Chapman of CP Communications said Chick-fil-A will provide entertainment, security, restrooms and Chick-fil-A during the countdown. She said a DJ will be set up between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to provide games and music. Later the campers will get to watch ?The Polar Express? on a large outdoor screen before a late-night Chick-fil-A Chicken Soup party.

The new restaurant hired 65 people, they said.
