Bank Robbery Suspect Faces Court Date
A 32 year old Livingston, Montana man will stand trial on charges of burglary and robbery. John Holland Green appeared before 7th District Judge Greg Moeller in a competency hearing this week.
Rexburg Police allege Green held up Zion?s Bank January 7, 2010 then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Captain Randy Lewis says Green is suspected, but has never been charged with similar crimes in Montana.
Green checked himself into a Montana mental health facility while those investigations were underway, but later cooperated with Rexburg Police investigators.
Green is being held in the Madison County jail on $200 thousand bond. His next court date is March 12, 2012 with trial set to begin April 9.
