Pedestrian Hit In Idaho Falls Parking Lot In Serious Condition
A woman hit in a parking lot in Idaho Falls is listed in serious condition, police said Friday.
According to police, an Idaho Falls man was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup west on Anderson Street on Thursday, when he turned into the Idaho Steel parking lot at 255 East Anderson. He struck Shawna England, 61, of Shelley, who was walking across the lot. The driver and pedestrian did not see each other.
The accident happened just before 1 p.m.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
The Idaho Falls Police Department is investigating the accident.
