Main Street Buzz: Unique Family Practice
In this week’s Main Street Buzz, we found a doctor’s office with a unique twist: there is just one man running the whole show.
Idaho Falls native Dr. Orie Browne’s practice is like any other doctor’s office with his medical degrees hung proudly, tongue depressors, and hand sanitizer; but it is all in one single room, plus a laptop and a chuck norris poster.
That’s all it takes for Dr. Browne to see his patients every day.
In order to make that possible, Dr. Browne says it’s all about decreasing overhead.
Browne answers the phone, walks his patients to the room. Taking full advantage of the internet, his patients can schedule their appointments online and even get quick consultations through email.
For Dr. Browne, it’s all about spending more time with his patients.
“It gives me the chance to really cater to my patients and cater to them the way that I want to help them be happy and healthy,” said Browne.
The Browne Family Practice opened its doors Monday and so far doctor Dr. Browne says he’s had only happy customers.
