Ririe Wins Drinking Water Planning Grant

The city of Ririe will get some financial help to prepare a drinking water system facility plan and accompanying environmental documents.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has approved a drinking water planning grant for $25,000.

IDEQ said the project will evaluate Ririe’s current drinking water system and identify deficiencies and improvements needed to meet future growth.

The total eligible cost of the project is $50,000. The city of Ririe will foot the other half of the bill.
