More info on absentee ballots

Election offices statewide will mail absentee ballots very soon.

At the Bingham County elections office in Blackfoot, director Marlene Jensen is getting ready.

She said absentee ballots for travelers and active military go out on Sept. 21.

Absentees planning to vote in person this season — maybe ahead of elections — can begin to return ballots to county offices Sept. 24.
