Rexburg PD confiscates many drug-related items in traffic stop

A student may not be home for Thanksgiving after Rexburg police said they found numerous drug-related items in a U-Haul during a traffic stop.

Evan Alexander Joseph Boylan, 21, of California, attends school in Montana and was stopped on U.S. Highway 20, police said Wednesday.

Boylan was arraigned Wednesday on felony possession of a prescription drug (Aderol) and four additional misdemeanors, open container of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of mushrooms and drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found in possession of prescription drugs that had other people’s names on it. More charges are likely as results for lab tests for ecstasy come in.

Police also said he had a fictitious driver’s license from Oregon.
