Brush fire burning southeast of Fort Hall

A brush fire is burning southeast of Fort Hall.

A representative at the Eastern Idaho Interagency Center said the fire is in the hills east of 2 1/2 mile road.

The fire has burned approximately 175 acres in heavy juniper trees as of 1 p.m. Monday.

The fire was reported just before 8 p.m. Sunday and is believed to have been started by lightning on Saturday, they said.

No structures are threatened at this time. They are estimating containment at 8 p.m. Monday.
