Grand Teton stabbing
A Las Vegas man is being held in the Teton County Jail in Jackson on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm and one count of assault which resulted in serious bodily injury. Vincent Hagey, 32, appeared before U.S. Magistrate James Lubing in Moose, Wyoming Monday for arraignment on the two felony charges.
Hagey was arrested by Grand Teton National Park Rangers at around 1:35 a.m. Friday, June 28. Investigators said he stabbed a man in the abdomen during an altercation in an employee dormitory adjacent to Jackson Lake Lodge.
The victim was transported by a park ambulance to St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson. The unidentified man has since been released from the hospital.
Special agents of the National Park Service’s Investigative Services Branch are investigating the assault.
