Crazy Pancreas 5/10 K Race to help diabetes research

Running is something the Thurstons have done for a long time. Travis Thurston has been running since he was a kid, and now he is passing it along to his two sons.

But while Travis was preparing for his first race, Chris, Travis and Jenny’s eldest son, had to be rushed to the hospital at the age of 2.

It was there the family learned their son was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes. Rather than accept his limitations, the family created the Crazy Pancreas 5/10 K race with all proceeds going to fund diabetes research.

The Thurstons do all they can to help, and someday they hope to find a cure.
