Just a Thought – Summer, 2013

Welcome to Valley Agronomics! Agriculture as we should all know is not an exact science. Some variables we have very little control over and others we have none. We can however manage a lot of our inputs and in-season activities. Proper management and a certain amount of “good fortune” can help us produce good, healthy, profitable crops. Whether you are working on your yards and gardens or the operation that provides your livelihood, being proactive with what we are doing is essential. I believe listing ones options helps organize our path and smooth out some of the bumps. Below are two lists! The one on the left contains some of the things we have no control over, the other list shows items we can manage on different levels. In the coming segments we will discuss some of the subjects on these lists.
